Please support the work of Family Voices as we seek to assist the families of more than 9 million children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN) across the nation.

How We Put Your Giving to Work

• We share information, experiences, and expertise with families, professional partners, youth leaders, and policymakers across the nation;
• We bring critical family input to policy discussions and decisions in our work with organizations, providers, health agencies, programs and systems, and research projects at the community, state, and national level;
• We provide needed supplies and services to families in times of special crises;

YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS assist us in Making A Difference !

In the fall of 2005, Family Voices launched their Families Helping Families campaign to assist evacuees with children and youth with special needs affected by Hurricane Katrina. We received over $28,000 to help families in Georgia, Alabama, Missouri, Florida and Louisiana. All of these funds have been distributed directly to families of CYSHCN in need and used for:

• baby formula
• bedding
• clothes
• diapers
• feeding utensils
• feeding tubes

• special toys
• special equipment
• vitamins
• prescription medicines
• gas cards
• phone cards

Our hearts go out to our families and friends affected by these hurricanes and to all of you for your generosity in helping make the lives of children and youth with special health care needs a little better. Thanks from our heart to yours!
