2009 F2F HIC Grantee Meeting

Sustaining Our Community of Learners: Family-to-Family Health Information Centers Meeting May 5-6, 2009: Washington, DC

At the 2009 meeting for Family-to-Family Health Information Centers (F2F HICs), over 70 participants came together, representing all 41 currently funded centers. On Tuesday afternoon, MCHB Project Officers, Diana Denboba and Linda Honberg, welcomed the F2F HIC grantees and State Implementation grantees to a special joint meeting. Throughout the afternoon, both grantee groups listened to presentations relevant to their work in the states. During breakout sessions and the evening reception, participants were encouraged to share their ideas and perspectives and to find ways in which they could work together to sustain the movement of involving families as partners. On Wednesday, F2F Grantees met separately from the State Implementation grantees to hear presentations and discuss issues releventant to F2F centers.
