Annual Awards

The Council on Community Pediatrics (COCP) is dedicated to promoting and acknowledging achievements in Community Pediatrics. To honor outstanding contributions in Community Pediatrics the COCP hosts an Annual Awards Luncheon each year at the National Conference and Exhibition for award recipients. Members of the COCP are encouraged to respond to the Call for Nominations and to join the awards luncheon.

AWARDS
The COCP recognize leaders for the following Awards:

• Job Lewis Smith Award
• Calvin C J Sia Community Pediatrics Medical Home Leadership & Advocacy Award
• Local Heroes Awards
• Outstanding Achievement in the Application of Epidemiologic Information to Child Health Advocacy (joint with the Section on Epidemiology)
• National Pediatric Community Teaching Award
  

NOMINATIONS PROCESS
2011 Award nominations are now being accepted for the following awards.

Submissions are due by 5:00pm CDT on Friday, April 1,2011.
