Report released on the health status and service needs of America's children
The Health Resources and Services Administration's (HRSA) Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) has released the 20th annual report, Child Health USA 2010, on the health status and service needs of America's children. It provides data on infants, children, adolescents, children with special health care needs and women of childbearing age. Information on health services financing and utilization begins on page 53. The data is intended to assist public health professionals and others in planning, developing and implementing effective programs to meet the health needs of children. The report contains easily accessible graphs and charts summarizing the indicators of children's health status, statistics, figures and references.
