Family Voices Board Seeks Nominiations


Call for Nominations - Family Voices Board of Directors
The Family Voices Board Nominations Committee is seeking applicants for the 2013- 2016 Board of Directors. This is a volunteer position. Priority is being given to Family Leaders and people with a financial and accounting background.

 

As a director, you would help shape the policies and positions of Family Voices, represent families of children and youth with special health care needs and/or disabilities from across the country, help to ensure the future viability and financial stability of the organization, together with staff, coordinate the implementation of Family Voices' strategic initiatives, and gain leadership experience in a national organization.

 

The board term is three years long, and would begin as soon as November 1. Family Voices Directors are asked to become individual members of the organization. Membership benefits include receiving membership-only emails and newsletters, and discounts on selected publications. The most important benefit of being a Director, however, is helping to support the longevity and continued good work of this 20-year old organization which provides critical assistance, directly and indirectly, for thousands of families and children each year.
