Winner in the 0 - 7 Age Category

The winner in the 0 - 7 age category was Robert Parry.

Robert's Mom Nora said:

"One of the things I have enjoyed most about watching how Robert has grown and changed is his great spirit, willingness, passion for life, and most and best, his happiness.  I enjoy seeing my ‘lil guy every day of his life."

Nora shares that Robert, who is seven, is legally blind, and has severe developmental delays.

Winner in the 8 - 14 Age Category

The winner in the 8 - 14 age category was Kylie Hawkins.

Kylie's Mom Kristen said:

"One of the things I have enjoyed most about watching how Kylie has grown and changed is watching her blossom from a young girl into a young lady.  Despite not being able to express her feelings and emotions, she always seems to find a way to let everyone around her know what she is thinking.  She has the most beautiful laugh and smile. She takes complete joy in things around her, and her love is truly unconditional."

Kristen shares that Kylie, who is fourteen, was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome at age 3.  She has epilepsy, apraxia, cognitive impairment, as well as swallowing and other GI issues, and poor gross and fine motor skills.  She is non-verbal and has some mood/behavioral and sleep challenges, often related to her poor health.

Winner in the 15 - 21 Age Category

The winner in the 15 - 21 age category was Matthew Leavens.

Matthew's Mom Kathy said:

"One of the things I have enjoyed most about watching how Matthew has grown and changed is seeing the JOY he shows in every experience.  In life we sometimes forget the simple pleasures. Not Matt! He always enjoys the things he gets to do, places he goes and the people he meets. He has a deep appreciation for anything he is given and the people in his life. It is a pleasure to have a daily reminder that life can be full of joy in spite of any huge challenges we might face.  Matt is always happy and full of joy no matter what the circumstances!"

Kathy shares that Matthew, who is seventeen, has intellectual disabilities.

Congratulations again to all of the winners, and thank you to ALL of the families who participated in this raffle!
