In 2013, there were approximately 74 million children under 18 years of age living in the U.S. HRSA strives to improve the availability of, and access to, health care services to ensure their health and well-being.
HRSA provides a broad range of programs that address the specific health needs of children.
Its largest program, Title V, funds grantees from 59 states and jurisdictions, implementing systems and services that improve the health and well-being for women, particularly mothers, and children.
