Experience Matters: A View into the Health and Wellbeing of U.S. Children and Families with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Experience Matters: A View into the Health and Wellbeing of U.S. Children and Families with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Last month, the Child and Adolescent Health Measurement Initiative (CAHMI) released a chart book, funded by Autism Speaks, on the health and well-being of children with ASD and their families. The chart book was prepared between March 2014-March 2016 using a process that engaged a wide range of stakeholders and experts (including an expert committee with Family Voices' own Nora Wells, Jennifer Bolden-Pitre, and Board Member Jim Perrin). It includes data on a variety of topics, including diagnosis, comorbidities, early intervention, education, transition to adulthood, and family well-being.
